When I was on the SL grid earlier this week, I popped in to Baby Monkey and was lucky enough to find the Designer, and CEO of the company in the store. As a matter of etiquette, I sent Ms. Pixieplumb Flanigan a note, thanking her for the lovely offerings, and asked permission to feature her in our blog. After a brief discussion, I was very happy to learn that she has read our blog, (yay!). She was also kind enough to give me some notable points you may find of interest about her store, and group.

Pixie's large store, features a wide array of affordable clothes, in every color known to the rainbow. You can find reasonably priced basic tees, sweaters, dresses, skirts, & shoes. Ohhhhh the shoes! What's your favorite style? Flats? Pumps? Mules? She has them! Victorian styled shoes? Oh ya, she has those too! Lots of color richness, and patterns to choose from! Your outfit would not be complete with out bangles, and a handbag you say? Pixie has taken care of your accessory needs with a wonderful selection of those as well!

If you have child avi's here is something to make note of - a great selection of kids clothes. The same fine quality, and detail as the adult clothes, some of the shoes, come with color change, flex lace frills and a re-size script.

If you join Pixie's group, you will not be disappointed. Looking back through the group notices, I realized that Ms. Flanagan spoils her group members, which she has affectionately named "Baby Monkey Junkies". The group is now free to join, and definitely worth it! Look for this sign.

Freebies can be found over in the corner. Below is a taste of what you'll find inside. The skirt, even has a resize script, and the tees come in 3 color choices, along with a pair of panties. The same mesh netting in the bow of the shoes (a former freebie) is in the skirt! There is also a box with shoes and boots.

While you are there, slip next door to Jezzebel Rock. She has an awesome gift in her scrib-o, you can camp for free goodies too!

I wandered around outside a bit more, and found freebie, and dollarbie items, tucked away in these sculpty prims over by the dumpster.

Saturday morning freebies

As promised, I'm back and it's shaping up to be a great day of freebies!

Not sure how long this will go on, but Fluky is going out of business and has a 1L box with some of their older designs in it, and has a lot of 5L, 10L and 25L stuff out as well.

Savvy Avvy has a great discount wall with nothing over 50L. Today, tucked into that wall display is a cute ladies blue button coat for 0L. And while I didn't see any men's freebies, there are suits for 50L and shirts for 25L and a lot of other things as well for the men. I'm trying guys, but these very reduced prices may have to do for now.

Kiwi has a cute dress for 1L, and a skin for 1L, along with a free pair of earrings.

LA Designs has a cute gray/red outfit, a black mini-dress, and a gray strapless top, all for 1L each.

L.A. Couture has a lovely red lingerie outfit for the ladies and a pair of cargo pants for the guys, both for free. They're in the gift bags on the counter. Ladies, there are also two cute dresses, one on either side of the counter, for 50L each.

Friday Freebies

After a somewhat dry couple of weeks (after Christmas recovery time, I imagine!), the freebies are coming out fast and furious! All the better for us, right? And of course, most of the new freebies are Valentine's themed.

Starting out tonight's freebies is Clio Cardiff & Co. and what a find this was! A beautiful brown gown for FREE! There are also a few other freebies and dollarbies here, including sweaters, jewelry, and a men's outfit!

OK, you know how I usually feel about being forced to join a group to get freebies, but this is worth it! Thalia's Fashion Collection Boutique has a wall of member freebies that are wonderful! A couple of really cute dresses, fairy tattoo, and lingerie. You need to join the actual inworld group to get the freebies, and then she has a Subscribe-O-Matic as well (and a bunch of lucky chairs out in front of the store!).

Dionysia Designs has a cute heart bracelet with earrings and color change for 1L.

Self-Expressions has a double heart necklace and earrings for 1L.

More freebies!

Twice in one day, you lucky freebie seekers! These first two are from Havilah:

Pow Candy Neko Wars offers a cute long sleeved fitted shirt, slim scarf, slim knitted belt, and cute capris!!! Shirt is cobalt and pants are khaki so great for mixing and matching. 1L on a cart in the middle of the store.

Heavenly Bodies Shape Boutique has two dollar shapes in the window to your left as you walk in! One male "Jaxx 6'2" and one female "Teddy 5'10." I love the fact that each shape has a height on the label because I don't like the SL habit of being unnaturally tall!!!

Glam Couture has a cute brown coat for us for only 1L!

Royal Designs has some Valentine's Day gifts for us! A teddy bear, a box of candy and a balloon, each only 1L, and transferrable ;)

Sexy Angel offers us a cute white dress called Baby Girl White for 1L.

DaneMarkZ has a pretty opal heart necklace and earrings for us, completely free! There is also a couple of dollarbie dresses and jewelry here.

A few quickie freebies

Something a little different here...at the Etopia Eco-Village, you'll find a free bamboo bicycle, for riding around the sims on. It's in a green box with a free shirt. The bicycle goes to inventory - locate and wear to ride. There are several stores here, and most of them have freebies!

RBZ Designs has got a really nice dark green mini-dress for us called Minx. Don't miss this one!

Prism Couture has their next free Valentine's outfit out for us for only 1L. Called Angel Heat, it's a ribbed sweater and pants, and even comes with boots!

Babele's Fashion has a "Be Happy" Hud for 1L. Yep, a dollarbie hud that will put a smile on your face ;) Be sure to check out the 50L SuperBowl outfits!

Elate! put a dollarbie Inauguration Day outfit yesterday, so not sure how long Kellie will keep it out. It's a white skirt with a blue jacket and flag pin. Just drop a Linden into the fountain and you'll get the gift.

A new pose store called On the Cover offers us three dollarbie poses that are really cute and suitable for your photo studios. Be sure to look around, these poses are straight off the covers of magazines and there are some great group poses.
