At Vindi, I found a free white tux, just in time for New Years! Warning: It may need some minor adjusting, easily handled through appearance, as it's full mod. There's also a box of men's underwear, and another box with a very nice tintable shirt and 4 ties.

For those of you who may be getting married, but money is tight, Vindi offers a free wedding dress, bridesmaid dress and flower girl dress, each for $1.

More Christmas Freebies

Nicandra gave me some more freebies this morning. Trying to get these to you as quickly as possible, because they are obviously Christmas gifts and will probably be gone in a day or two. Sorry I can't give you more detail, but I haven't opened any of these boxes yet, as I wanted to get them up here for you.

At M.E. Fashion, there are 3 boxes under a Christmas tree. One contains a black and purple outfit, one contains black jeans, ice skates, copyable Christmas decorations, a flexidress, and something called Sexy Devil, and the last box contains something called Georgia. Inside the door is a box containing a face animation, black cross necklace, pink capris and a red stone necklace. While I was there, I looked around at the clothes - very nice, with affordable prices. I'll be coming back later to shop :)

At LBD Designs, several boxes under a tree containing a Pink Orchid dress, Rainbow dress, Gold and Red dress, Red Leave dress, Butterfly dress, KimNo dress, and KimNo 1 dress.

ETD - Elika Tiramisu Designs - I can't believe I haven't mentioned it before! Nicandra reminded me and I had to double check my past entries to be sure but yep, I've been a bad bad girl. ETD has some of the most awesome hairpieces in all of SL, and her discount/freebie section is great. In fact, the hair I wear the very most was a $1 freebie here! She's put up new items since I was here last, including a fat pack of cords (pants), a fat pack of sleep shorts, and a fat pack of nice dresses...all for $1 each! She has some nice slingbacks up for $50 each, and many discounted hairstyles.

Aboard the Titanic!

I was dancing at the ballroom on the Titanic tonight, and happened to look over and found...yep, freebies! Now I'd get these ASAP, because I guarantee they are Christmas freebies and won't be around long.

There are several boxes on a table under the Christmas tree, containing furniture, clothing and jewelry. I believe there are 5 altogether, possibly 6. Some of the boxes are dummies. I haven't looked yet to see what all I got, but out of all that, there has to be something good!

I have a new helper, Nicandra Laval, a reader of this blog, and now contributing by finding freebies for me! Thanks Nicandra!

So these are some that she has found for us.

At Temple of the Gods, there is a very nice Isis choker (almost exactly like one I used to own!) for only $1.

At !Frangipani Designs, Nicandra found an adorable mini-skirt with four floral tops for only $1! They are very very cute, jump on this one!! There is also a pair of color change strap shoes, for free! This store has some really nice clothes...I looked around for quite awhile and found lots to destroy my budget with...but be sure to catch the sale section. I found several beautiful dresses as cheap as $30!

The next stop on Nicandra's list was CF Plaza - I found a pair of Eternity diamond earrings for free.

True Talent

There is a ton of talent in SL, and I'm amazed on a daily basis by the things I've seen built. But last night, whew kids, I was totally blown away! I went looking for a Christmas tree, and found Nemesis. Yes, the trees are there, but at 162 prims, I'm not buying one, although they are truly incredible. But the really good stuff is inside...gift boxes that are so 3 dimensional that I bought 5 of them at $50 each, and I hate paying for gift boxes! Fortunately, there's one that's a freebie, and oh yes, that's why it's here :)

There's also a free bottle of champagne in an ice bucket, and a free Santa hat. But at this place...be prepared to spend some money because once you see what she's made, you'll want to own some too! There are also beautiful candles, sculpty pots, Christmas swags.

Plan on spending some time on this one!

Another Saturday freebie!

Just in time to be that beautiful Christmas Elf, I found a freebie at Exxess.

Red velvet corset with white fur trim, ear muffs, boots and gloves...this outfit is GORGEOUS! Hurry and get this one!!

Jocko Domo freebie

Have you ever wanted to be a geisha? Do you enjoy oriental decor? Have I got the place for you!

Jocko Domo offers a free parasol, and a free hand-held animated fan, but beyond that, the location is beautiful and serene. It has some truly beautiful clothing (kimonos, parasols, etc), wigs, and all the accessories you'd need to be a beautiful geisha, waiting on her man or woman. There is a green tea set (yummy!), sake set, and sushi set. They have "ceremonial" modes where you are serving your guest(s), and the sushi and green tea sets even have speech to explain the ceremonial process! VERY cool!

Honey's Fashion Mall

My business continues to grow! I moved Honey's UK Couture to a new location on the same sim, just down the street, and I've added the WRONG and Reaction clothing lines! So there are now three stores in a row, and I've added a beach in the back. There's a couple of camping towels back there too ;)

I anticipate having a grand opening party (complete with DJ) within the next few days and I'll post the details here when they are set.

Freebies at Nicky Ree!

I attended a fashion show yesterday and absolutely fell in love with some of Nicky Ree's new designs, so I decided to pop over and see what else she had in stock.

To my delight, I found a few freebies there!

One is a pink satin evening gown, which is quite lovely and certainly looks like a high dollar item, not a freebie.

The other was a tartan bikini and sarong. Very pretty colors, and the plaid is subtle, not so much "in your face". The bikini top covers you fairly well, and the bottom isn't just "floss", I don't feel over-exposed in it ;)

When you run over to get these, take some time to look around. Nicky also has some very pretty tank tops for $25, and you get four different tops in each package, along with a matching panty! Great bargain!

My how time flies!

I'm sorry - I've been a very bad blogger! Let's see if I can make up for it with today's freebies!

At the Oak Trees Shoppes, a new mall having their grand opening, I found a couple of nice freebies!

At Bonnets, Bustles and Baubles, they are offering a Victorian dress and bonnet for free. Could be useful for role playing, or as a costume.

At EC&M Apparel, they're offering a free floor-length gown, very pretty!

At LeMonde Furniture, they're giving away a very nice Celtic design room divider.

At The Creaking Cauldron, they have a goodie bag with some jewelry in it....and we all need more jewelry, right? Just in time for Halloween, this store has a flying witches broom which I haven't seen anywhere else. It's called the "Flattering Flying Broom" and the poses are in fact, very flattering. At only $200L, it's a great deal!

All in all, a nice little mall! I wish them all the best!

Freebie Island

Well, I'd be remiss if I didn't tell you about Freebie Island. I took a tour around it today and felt sick when I think of all the money I've spent on exactly this stuff.

The signs all scream that there is nothing over $10 and nothing over $100 for exclusive furniture items, although I did find several items $10-$50, and I just found a sectional sofa for $390.

I have to mention that of course, these aren't the high end freebies I try to provide you with...emphasis on TRY...the hula skirt deal yesterday wasn't so hot. But, go check it out!

Hawaiian!

At Kokua Apparel, they offer a $1 freebie filled with bikini tops and hula skirts! Great if you're going to a Hawaiian party!

They have some nice batik tops too, check them out!

Getting in the Holiday Spirit!

OK, I admit it, I'm looking forward to the holidays this year :)

So, I've been looking for Christmas stuff, and today, I discovered Galveston Isle, which is sponsored by galveston.com. It's a beautifully done sim, and yes, I got misty, because I love Galvston.

There is a store there called Olde Christmas in the Strand, selling Christmas trees, decorations, and "snow panes" for your windows. The items were a bit pricey, but they did have a freebie! There are 10 free Christmas gift boxes, and a free basic Christmas tree.

I hope this business lasts till the holidays, but in case they don't, get over there soon to get your freebies!

The Jammin' & Slammin' Club

As I've mentioned before, I work as a hostess at The Jammin' & Slammin' Club. I wanted to let you all know that on Wednesday, September 5, from 6-8pm, we'll be having a grand re-opening! My boss, Stacy Noel, had the club completely redesigned and it's absolutely beautiful. As part of the redesign, there is now an aquarium lounge under the club, which is just incredible!

So, on Wednesday, I'll be hosting Coyote Ugly...$250L prize for female with the best Coyote Ugly outfit, and $250L prize for the male with the best "shitkickin" outfit.

Good morning shoppers!

While doing a little early morning shopping, I stumbled across the Magical Dream Mall on the Odessa Astounding sim. There I found a "Butterfly in Baby Blue (lingerie) and Bling shoes", a box with a free shape and skin, color changing shoes, and some clothes, and a men's box containing tattoos, a Gangsta Walk, and a couple of outfits.

I'll bring more as I find them, as I'm on a shopping mission today :)

Jewelry freebie

Tonight, I was at French Spirit, and found a pair of freebie diamond earrings, and a free dress. Just a note, there are a lot of chairs to camp and earn merchandise.

Frankly, it seems like it's getting harder to find quality freebies! But, diligent reporter that I am, I shall continue dragging myself from store to store to find them for you! *giggle*

At Diande, I found a free bangle, and in the same mall, at Syn, I found a freebie containing a red corset and more bangles.

Are you an Elvis fan?

Today is not a fashion freebie. Instead, at the Bean Bag Boutique, I found an "Elvis Fan" freebie consisting of six bean bag chairs and a carpet with Elvis' picture on them.

It's not my taste, but I thought I'd pass it along. This is a limited time offer, so if you want it, hurry over!

Talisman

Talisman, run by Hazel Kyrgyz, offers a "Freebie Wall", where most items are only $1L. There are male/female skins, eyes, hair, jewelry and clothes. You could pretty much outfit a newbie with what's on the wall. Hazel runs a really nice store, which also has a 50% off Discount Garden, and Lucky Chairs - stop by today!

Before I go further, I want to mention that Club XTC is having a "Best in Beachwear" event tonight from 5-7, live DJ, and they'll be giving away speedos and a dance chimera. If interested, drop on by!

At SF Designs, they have an adorable dress with hat as a freebie. I saw someone else wearing this and it was so cute, I just had to have it for myself :) They have REALLY nice clothes here...this designer is very talented. So please be sure to look around after you grab your freebie!

Nyte 'N' Day is offering a $1 freebie containing a bathing suit, t-shirt, pants and tank top! One of SL's best designers here folks! They also offer a $1 skin, and for another $1, you can get TWO shapes! Stop on by!

Whew!

I got a job as a hostess at a nightclub, and I've been working a lot - not much time to run around locating freebies, but here's some stuff for you.

I have a friend who signed onto SL, and I've been taking her around, getting her set up. Her's a place she found for me to pass on to you.

The Freebie Store is a HUGE place filled with items for free or $1, with nothing over $5. Again, you can find these free around SL, but if you want to save some time, start here. I have to say that the boxes are very neatly organized, and it's easy to find what you're looking for.

One warning - this sim is very populated, causing some straight flight problems. ;)

*Tickled Pink* Hair and Shoe Design

At *Tickled Pink* Hair and Shoe Design, they offer a lot of $1L freebies to the left of the front door.

One package contains a variety of hair, one contains jewelry, another contains bunny slippers, there's a pedicure tray (if you're into that sort of thing), two pairs of shoes in a box, and there were a few other boxes I couldn't get into because SL was having problems.

While I was here, I took a look around. I had never been to this store before, but really need to spend some time here! They have some really nice hair, shoes and jewelry, with prices on par with Gurlywood's.

Furniture Freebies

Tonight, I visited AnnDe's Furniture Store and Garden Centre. In addition to having some nice furniture, they are offering two great freebies! I don't know how long they'll stay there, but if you hurry over, you should find them.

The first freebie is a dining table and four chairs in blue slate.

The second freebie is a wood arbor with a tiled garden bench. It's actually two freebies in one, because you have to grab both pieces.

Delicious Designs

I found Delicious Designs today. Really nice clothes, but way overpriced :(

However, they do offer a freebie bag of clothes :)

Words of caution

I just wanted to take a moment here to caution the newbies. A lot of unscrupulous vendors will box up a bunch of freebies that you can find anywhere in SL and sell them for $10L, $25L or more. I don't mind paying $1L if it's freebies I've never seen before, but I strongly caution you not to pay for boxes or bags sitting in front of stores until you've been on SL for a couple of weeks and have stocked your inventory with the legitimately free freebies first.

Always search your inventory before buying something to be sure that don't already have the item! There are so many freebies and giveaways at stores, that it's very likely you may already have it.

Speaking of inventory...Let's discuss inventory management for a moment.

Very early on, you'll want to create subfolders under the system folders that SL gives you. You'll have a system folder called Clothing. Create subfolders under it for shoes, outfits, skirts/dresses, lingerie, jewelry, etc., and be diligent about organizing for a few minutes every day. If you don't, it won't take long at all before you find your inventory so unmanageable that you can't find anything, and it's a shame to pay for a beautiful dress, and not be able to find it later!

Further, in your Recent Items, you'll find a system folder for Objects. I recommend that you create daily subfolders in there every day at sign on, and move everything you got the day before into it, before you run around getting stuff on the new day. That way, you'll be able to see (if you don't have the time to spend organizing) what you got on what specific day. I'm afraid I'm not explaining this very well, so feel free to ask me here or in SL if I've confused you.

Oh, and one last thing - if you buy an outfit, resist the temptation to break it up. SL has a wonderful feature in inventory called "Replace Outfit". By right-clicking on an outfit's folder, you can choose to wear the entire outfit at once, instead of taking off the old outfit and adding the new outfit on one piece at a time. Word of warning though, I usually lose my hair when I do this and have to put it back on. I'm still working on finding a better way to manage that myself.

Free gowns!

At Eclectic Eclipse, I found two beautiful ball gowns, original designs, for free. One is red, and one is blue.

Lazy Sunday Freebie

Found a place called Cia Designs, where they are offering a free flexi dress.

In the same mall, they have several Lucky Chairs!

Gurlywood

I had almost forgotten to mention one of the very best freebies of all!

Gurlywood sells hair, clothes, shoes, etc., but without a doubt, they are best known for their hair. Six Kennedy, owner of Gurlywood, does a remarkable job of designing. She also offers a free hair purchase to anyone who has been on SL for 30 days or less. Simply go there, and find the wall with the freebie vouchers, pick out your hair and use your voucher will kick in.

If you're new to SL, plan on taking your time to try on various demos ($1 each) and find the hair that really best suits you.

Ikea Center Freebies

At the Ikea Center, for a limited time, they're having a 50% sale, and there are nice decor items for free in most of the rooms, such as candles, plants, etc.

I doubt this will last long, so hurry over!

By the way, their furnishing prices are extremely reasonable right now!

As I was on my way offline, I discovered The Evolution Ballroom and Lounge, which has a "Ring of Freebies". In here, I discovered a lot of stuff that is normally sold around SL, as well as given, however, it was some of the nicest freebies I've seen. They do ask for a donation at the door for War Child.

Sunday Freebies

At Fashion By B, they have three boxes of freebies...and really nice clothes if you can afford them!

Coconut Ice is offering a box of freebies containing shorts, a halter, and a pair of corkies.

At Vienna Freebies, they have a whole shop full of fairly nice clothing and shoes for free.

Free jewelry!

In search of a necklace, I hit some jewelry stores today, and JCNY has freebies! Diamond dangling earrings, diamond hoop earrings, and a pretty diamond ring. If you join their group, you get $1000L worth of free jewelry! They also have camping chairs that earn you goodies and Lucky Chairs. I won a very nice necklace from the Lucky Chair! :)



At Purple Rose, I found freebies of Diamond Studs, a Color Change Bracelet, some clothes, eyes, and jewelry that I hadn't seen around SL before, a Purple Rose ring, a Purple Rose t-shirt and jeans, Platinum Flower Earrings. Well worth the visit!

A mention...while I wasn't looking for these things, at Au Naturel, they had three boxes, each $10L. In one was 32 pairs of shoes and 6 pairs of boots, one had two free hairstyles, and one had several clothing items. Not a bad price to get well stocked.

At Reminisce Jewelry, they offer a free pair of diamond cut gold hoop earrings.

Boulevard Mystique

Let's see what we can find today! I'm at the Boulevard Mystique Mall.

Not many freebies around here worth noting, but I do want to mention Belle Belle Furniture. They had some really nice furniture at very reasonable prices, so if you're in the market, you may want to try here. They had a couple of kitchens that I'll consider if and when I upgrade my current kitchen!

Good morning!

Today, I hit the Vlaams Freebie Shop, and got free hair, sunglasses, 8 bikinis, a free house, and a really pretty dress.


They have TONS of free stuff...go visit!

Pearls!

Today, I explored the Plaza Shopping Mall, and at laCim, I found a free gift of a white pearl necklace and matching earrings. They also have a Lucky Chair.


If you don't know about Lucky Chairs, they're found all over Second Life. They post a letter of the alphabet, and if the letter your name starts with comes up, you win whatever prize is being offered. I love them!

Across the street from laCim, I found Karma Designs, which offered a free gift of a man's and a woman's t-shirt. They also had a camping chair that you could sit in for 10 minutes, to earn a diamond bracelet. Of course, I took a 10 minute break! ;)

In the same mall, I found a store called Crochet, which provided a free gift of a flower tank top.

Still at the mall, Lancyr's offers a "free dog". I think this may be a stuffed dog, but I'm unable to open it here at the store...and I'm not done with the mall yet ;)

Ahhh, here's a store called Illy's which doesn't provide a "free" gift, but does offer 3 boxes of jewelry - one is a necklace with a heart for $5, one says "jewels" for $5, and the last just says Illy, for $2. I got them all and will try to remember to report back with what they were. They also have a Lucky Chair. If you're a shoe freak, they have some really nice ones at a fairly reasonable price.

Oh...a nice find. At Expressions by Delilah, I found a free sexywalk override. You'll find these free occasionally, but many places charge $50 for it.

I think that concludes tonight's shopping exploration!

A motherlode of free gifts!

At Awesome Designs, I found a wall with 7 boxes on it, containing a black mini skirt outfit, jeans, shirts, jewelry, etc. This was a great find!

Groups

An excellent way to get freebies is to join a group. Many vendors have created groups for their customers, and will offer freebies (or sale items) to only their group members.

You can join up to 25 groups, so join any and all you find. You'll quickly find out which ones you can delete, and which to keep.

Here's another free hair, at Nuclear Boutique. They also have some hair on sale for $75.
