A couple of Valentine's freebies!

More testing of a theory...and exciting news!

Not a freebie post today, sorry!

Just wanted to mention that our club, Summertime Blues Club, was written up on SecondAvatar today! Very exciting. The club has been open 10 days and seems to be a hit. We're running between 40 and 100 people a day through the club, all but two of the vendor stalls are rented, and if I could just find some good hosts, I'd be thrilled to death! ;)

Also, we leased a full sim! We'll be moving the houses, Honey's UK Couture (and the other stores) and the club to the sim over the next 30 days. I'm interviewing sim designers and getting prices because we don't want the sim to be just plain bare land. We're hoping to have one of those interesting sims people talk about and want to visit. Stay tuned!

Nicandra finds freebies!

Nicandra has been busy hunting down items for us, and I've been so busy with the club, I haven't had time to check them! So, I'm seeing aside some time right now :)

First stop is JPL Osaka. Obviously Japanese in nature, there were some interesting things. Gestures for $5, including one geisha bow. There's lots of $20 earrings, and a lot of $10 and $20 tiny avatars. There are three sets of $1 t-shirts. And darn it, they had the coolest pair of black boots for $200 that I just HAD to buy ;)

And then SL started kicking me on every teleport :/

Kungler's

Found a couple of freebies this morning at Kungler's. One is a pink and black cocktail dress...REALLY cute!! The other is a dress called Summer Dream, which is a nice halter dress, but the colors don't work for me personally.

This designer has some really nice clothes! I highly recommend looking around while you're here :)

We're still here!

Wow, sorry for the long absence! I've been busy setting up a new club with my RL hubby, called Summertime Blues Club. It's one week old now and doing very well! I hope that you'll come and visit me there! We play blues and southern rock on the radio, we have live entertainment, fireworks on Friday nights, live DJs several nights a week, contests every night, and we're also offering events starting at 9am on weekdays and 8am on weekends, for our European friends! I'm looking for hosts/hostesses, so if you know anybody experienced and looking for a job, send them my way!

Today's freebies come from L&F. There are several (like 12 or 13) great outfits, and a pair of shoes, all free! Some really cute stuff in this store. It took a good 5 minutes to rez but that may have been SL or my system, who knows, but even if it's the store, the freebies are worth it! Go grab a soda and wait for it :)
