Just a few thoughts (freebies later tonight!)

Hi!

I'm glad to see people responding to the polls to the right. If you haven't yet, could you take just a moment to complete them? The results will be shared with appropriate designers and groups, and it's important to get this data.

I wanted to remind everyone about the Virtual Freebies forum (a link to which can be found on the right). I encourage designers to post their freebies in there, and would like to see it become a resource for everyone.

If you haven't yet, use the slurl to the right, and TP to the Mall at Cherry Park, and sign up for the Virtual Freebies Subscribe-O-Matic. That's where we announce limited time freebies that we hear about...usually some pretty good stuff, but are too time limited to post on the blog.

While you're at the Mall, walk out to the park outside the Mall (you can't miss it) and look for the gazebo. What that is is a changing room system. If you need a place to change, or open boxes, just use one of the teleports in the gazebo and you'll be wisked away to your own private dressing room. Feel free to tell your friends about this :)

The SL Discovery Hunt

I've finished the Keys to the VIPs Hunt, which I enjoyed, and I'm a little over halfway finished with the SL Discovery Hunt...and suddenly I find myself burned out...and not sure I want to hunt anymore.

The blog's traffic has been down somewhat since the hunt started, presumably because nobody needs to go look for freebies....the hunt provides at least one per stop, and usually more, because the various stores have freebies out as well.

All of this has made me wonder how many other people are feeling burned out by a hunt this large and/or by the number of hunts that have come along lately. I put a poll on the right side-bar for you to look at - multiple answers accepted and appreciated. If you have thoughts that I didn't cover in the poll, please feel free to comment. Let's discuss this because I've also received a vendor app for yet another gridwide hunt that starts June 1 (that's like 3 or 4 I know of now for the month of June).

Early Monday Goodies

Vinyl Cafe is at it again!

For one week only, they have another AMAZING GIFT for their Groupies! You did join last week, didn't you?

My last post of the day...

I hope :)

SKG Shoes, who I've loved for just about forever, has some awesomeness for us. Love spiked heels? Love ankle straps? Love snakeskin? What if you could have all that for 1L? Mmmhmmm...that's what I thought.

But, as if that wasn't enough, just to the left of those (they're on the top shelf btw), is a hot pink sweater dress....cute cute cute AND matching pumps...only 5L each. Yep...5L. *moves out of the way*

Do be sure to look around. They've started carrying clothing and redesigned the store...it's really nice.

** Lemania, FYI ***

Disaster has struck the Lemania Castle, and the sim will be closed for a couple of days, while they rebuild.


The May Flowers Hunt was to start today, so it has been relocated to the THE FRENCH FARM.

You will have to wait until the sim reopens before you can grab the gifts from the other vendors on the Lemania sim. Here is a pic of what will be waiting for you from [AV] Vlodovic.


So, temporarily, along with Lemania's new designs and lots of other clothes and the gifts, Lemania has even moved the MM board, and Lucky Chairs to the farm.

Keys to the VIP Hunt - Prizes for the Ladies

Happy Mother's Day Ladies! I hope that you enjoy your day.

Tiny Bird has free hair. One for the guys, and one for the girls. As a Mother's Day treat, there are 6 styles priced at 1L each. Go find them!!

La Sylphide has some free eyes, and free lashes. This store has some gorgeous skins as well.

Beloved has marionette strings for 1L, and a "love shack" for free. This store has some unique items, such as sparkle grass, and metallic pipe trees (to name a few) to add a bit of whimsy to your SL!

I found the W&D Mainstore today, and was lucky enough for the lucky chair to spit out a "?", so I sat, and received this awesome baby doll!

I looked around the store, and also found that under the stairs they had some freebies, and dollarbies. Prim Lashes, free skins, eyes, and a facelight. Go have a look!


Sugar Cube is a new store to me, with nice things. Hit the subscribo and check the history, there are prezzies awaiting you! I took a look around the store, and also stumbled upon a pair of shorts & tank for 1L each.

They have cute, retro bikinis, on sale for just 50L! Regular prices are not bad at all. 200L for a dress, and skirts, and tops for 100L each.

DarKCatZ has a 1L Mother's Day tank top for 1L, as well as a Wall of Dollarbies & Cheap Stuff.
